Last week an international student studying in Australia had his student visa cancelled after he was found to have copied a number of his university assignments off the internet without proper attribution. The student was from Pakistan, studying in Melbourne and said that he had been encouraged to find answers to the assignment on the internet, however, he was not properly instructed on how to reference his sources.
